Chipotle Announces Chicago Food and Music Festival Called Cultivate Chicago
Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced it will host Cultivate Chicago, a one-day food and music festival that will be held in Chicago's Lincoln Park on October 1, 2011. The festival will occur from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and feature music, celebrity chefs and artisanal food and wine producers.
Celebrity chefs slated to attend include Richard Blais, Michael Chiarello, Amanda Freitag and Jonathan Waxman. Chicago favorites Paul Kahan, Tony Mantuano, Bruce Sherman and Paul Virant will also be cooking, speaking and conducting demonstrations. Calexico, Mayer Hawthorne & The County, White Rabbits, The Rural Alberta Advantage and The Cave Singers are among the musical guests slated to perform.
Admission to the festival is free. Chipotle says it plans to host similar events in other cities.
