The New York Times ArtsBeat blog reports that the Star Wars films will be coming to Blu-ray in 2011. A boxed set of all six movies will be available. ArtsBeat says George Lucas has been waiting for Blu-ray to be adapated by a large number of consumers. George Lucas said at the Star Wars Celebration V convention in Orlando, "We've been wanting to do it as soon as we possibly could, but we just wanted to do it when enough people would be able to buy it and see it."
