Long Island Town Uses Google Earth to Locate Unlicensed Pools
Fox Newsreports that the town of Riverhead, Long Island is using Google Earth to locate unlicensed pools. The town has found 250 unlicensed pools so far and has collected $75,000 in fines.
TechCrunch reports that the Greek government has also used Google Maps and Google Earth to spot people who installed pools without filing the proper paperwork.
