World's Largest Falafel Made in Jordan

We love following stories about the world's largest foods. The world's largest falafel was recently made in Jordan. The massive falafel, which weighed nearly 165 pounds (74.75 kg), set the Guinness World Record.

Sky News reports that the ingredients required to make the monster falafel included 176 pounds of chickpeas, 11 pounds of onions, 2.64 pounds of garlic and 92 gallons (360 liters) of vegetable oil.

It took 10 chefs at the Amman hotel to cook the falafel. It was eaten by 600 people. Take a look:

The largest falafel record was beaten in 2019 by chefs at the Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa in Jordan according to Guinness World Record.
