More women are using online dating services according to a recent Elle/MSNBC survey of 15,000 people. Nearly 2/3 of women responding to
the survey had used an online dating website. Of those trying online dating 44% of women said they had experienced more dates, more sex and more lasting relationships as a result. The
benefit of privacy and easier screening is driving more women to try online dating services. However, women should still be cautious because 20% of men using online personals said they
had lied about being single.
