Seattle's Best is one company that lost out with the liquidation of all the Borders stores. Seattle's Best had cafes in many Borders locations.
Nation's Restaurant Newsreports that Seattle's Best had 248 outlets in Borders Superstores nationwide. Losing these outlets will hurt Seattle's Best, but Hispanic Business magazine notes the Starbucks subsidiary still has partnerships with big companies, including Burger King, Subway, AMC Theaters and Delta Air Lines. Seattle's Best is also testing coffee bar concepts in Walmart Supercenters in Canada.
