The lawsuit between Bravo and the Weinsteins over the fate of Project Runwat has revealed
some interesting tidbits. Apparently, Bravo is so cheap that they didn't even pay Tim Gunn for the first season. And in the second season, he only got $2500 an episode. That's chickenfeed!
In testimony in N.Y. State Supreme Court this month, movie/TV mogul Harvey Weinstein told the judge that the fashion mentor wasn't paid anything in the show's first season.
The second season wasn't much better for Gunn: He got only $2,500 per episode, according to testimony in the court battle, which pits NBC/Universal against the Weinstein Co., which owns "Project Runway," over taking Heidi Klum's popular show from NBC's Bravo to Lifetime.

Weinstein also testified that he "disliked Bravo management." That would surely mean Bravo/Oxygen/iVillage chief Lauren Zalaznick. More than one source used the H word in describing the relationship: "They hate each other."
The show, which is up for an Emmy, has won numerous accolades. One source claimed, "Bravo didn't even send Heidi a bottle of perfume," but sources close to Klum said they did send flowers.
The judge still hasn't made a decision as to whether Harvey Weinstein violated a contract by not offering Bravo the right of first refusal before taking the show to Lifetime. We don't care about that. All we care about is them paying Tim Gunn a nice salary! Pay Tim now!
