Karl and Gwyneth Headline Key to the Cure

Photo of Gwyneth Paltrow Saks Fifth Avenue and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) announced that Gwyneth Paltrow has been named its ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue's 2008 Key to the Cure campaign, which is a women's cancer initiative. Mercedes-Benz is also sponsoring. Karl Lagerfeld created a limited edition t-shirt that will retail for $40 (over $35 to charity), exclusively to benefit Key to the Cure. The t-shirts will be sold at Saks Fifth Avenue stores starting October 1st.

Saks will also host a charity shopping weekend during October 16 to 19 at all of its stores nationwide and through saks.com, during which 2% of sales will benefit local organizations through EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund.

It's a great cause and a cute t-shirt.
