The Yukata is a cotton kimono. Reuters says Yukata sales are up 30% in some stores in New York City. Part of the reason for the sales spike is the Yukata is much cheaper ($50 to $60) than silk kimonos which Reuters says can sometimes cost more than $1,000. Take a look:
