There's a cheaper smartphone out there that has already sold 2 million units. That device is the Palm Centro. Like some of the pricier phones on the market today the Centro also offers voice, text, instant messanging, email, MP3s, organizational tools and web access. It has a touchscreen that you can use a stylus with and a full keyboard. The Centro also has a built-in camera that lets you shoot photos and video.
PC Magazine recently included the Centro is its list of 20 best products under $100. In their review, PC Magazine calls the Centro the "poor man's iPhone." jkOnTheRun writes that Centro selling 2 million units is an example of why price does matter in technology.
You can read more about the Centro here on Palm's website. Below is a review of the Palm Centro from David Pogue at the New York Times.
