Fox to Place its Popular TV Shows Behind an Internet Paywall

Sad news for fans of such Fox shows as Glee, Family Guy, Fringe and American Idol. Fox announced today that it will no longer make episodes of its show available online for free on Hulu the day after airing. Some shows will be available for free eight days after airing. But if you want to see the shows sooner than that, you'll have to pay.

To see the content that is behind the paywall, you can go to Fox and subscribe or you can subscribe to Hulu Plus. In the future, cable subscribers whose cable company has a deal with Fox will be able to enter their account number to watch the shows for free. The point of all this is to tie everyone to a cable subscription or a Hulu Plus subscription.
