Nastia Liukin Kicks Off Supergirl Collection in New York City
Olympic medalist Nastia Liukin kicked off her Supergirl by Nastia collection at New York's Greeley Square Park in front of JCPenney. The event featured live gymnastic exhibitions, dance performances, fashion presentations and onsite stretching and tumbling classes for young girls. Nastia also hosted a meet and greet for attendees and prizes were awarded to lucky winners throughout the event. The event is part of a five-market tour. The other stops are listed below.
“The New York kick-off event was such an incredible way to introduce Supergirl by Nastia to young girls and help communicate a message of empowerment,” said Liukin. “It was so much fun to interact with all of the girls and I am thrilled to be able to continue hosting the remaining events all across the country!”
The Supergirl by Nastia collection feature the S-Shield of Supergirl, the DC Comics super heroine. The line retails from $20 - $38. The collection includes active fleece, dresses and tunics, knit pants, signature Supergirl tees, dancewear, fashion leggings, shrug tops and more. The collection can be found in JCPenney stores and online at jcp.com.

August 7: Schaumburg, IL - Woodfield Mall
August 21: Glendale, CA - Glendale Galleria

Nastia will make a special appearance at this year’s Supergirl Jam set to take place on August 22 in Venice Beach, CA.
