Amazon.com Kindle Listed as Temporarily Out-of-Stock
Amazon.com's $189 Kindle is currently listed as temporarily out of stock on its website. The listing says, "Order now and we'll deliver when available." Amazon.com does not say when the Kindle will be back in stock. BusinessWeekreports earlier this month that Amazon.com's sales accelerated when the price of the Kindle was dropped from $259 to $189 in June.
CNET says this is the first time the Kindle has been out-of-stock since 2008.
