Man Invents New Sport Called Skishing, Local Fishermen Horrified
Paul Melnyk believes that the best way to catch a bass off of Montauk, Long Island, is to jump in after it, hook the fish, then let it tow him through the water. It's a cross between water skiing and fishing, so he calls it Skishing. Other fisherman disapprove and have kicked him out of a local contest.
