Here a preview for Episode 1 of Project Runway Season 8. They started with 17 designers this season instead of 16. Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn stress out the 17 designers by telling them they are actually still trying out to be on the show and one of them will not make it. The first challenge is actually the final phase of the audition process. We always hate when reality shows do this to contestants - just let them all be on the show.
