Netflix to Offer Streaming Movie/TV Service in Canada
Netflix is expanding outside the United States for the first time. Netflix announced in a statement that it will be expanding into Canada this fall offering its movie and tv streaming services to Canadian users. Canadian Netflix members will be able to watch movies and TV episodes on their TVs via a range of consumer electronics devices capable of streaming from Netflix, as well as watching on PCs and Macs. At the time of launch, the Netflix Canadian service will be available in English only, but the company said it expects to add French language capability over time.
