Video: Selena Gomez Disses Britney Spears in ITN Interview
Selena Gomez is in the UL to launch the Disney Channel HD. She chatted with ITN about the launch, then the interviewer asked her if she was faced with
Katy Perry, Pixie Lott and Britney Spears which would she like to duet with, room with or do a fake air kiss with.
Selena, who seemed to be in a seriously foul mood (truly, we've never seen her so grumpy on camera) said she'd do a duet with Katy Perry, be roomies with Pixie and "I guess that leaves Britney for the other one." Meow!! So what's the story behind her not very well concealed disdain for Britney Spears? The polite, Disney-approved response would have been: "OMG! I love/admire/respect all three of those women!!"
Selena is always so bubbly and upbeat and sweet, that even a bit of snark is kind of shocking. Perhaps she has jet lag? It's a really strange clip. Take a look:
