Finding a Mosquito Repellent That Works

It's mosquito season and it's time once again to face a daunting array of products which all claim to protect us from those nasty little bites. But which ones work? Janice Lieberman of The Today Show agreed to go to the lab that tests out mosquito repellent for the armed forces to see what really works. Geranium oil, lemon eucalyptus, DEET, IR3535: which of these ingredients will protect Janice's arm? Take a look:



Janice deserves some kind of medal for doing what she did in the name of protecting consumers: you couldn't pay us enough to go inside a mosquito repellent testing lab. So what works? Citronella candles, Avon's Skin so Soft, anything with DEET or IR3535, and mosquito-repellent clothing. Mosquitoes also hate fans, so fire up a few of those to help repel the bloodsuckers.
