Video: Philippe Cousteau and Amber Lyon Dive Near the Oil Spill
CNN's Amber Lyon and Philippe Cousteau went on an extended undersea dive to take a look at the oil spill-affected Gulf of Mexico. They had to wear special hazmat suits that kept their skin from coming into contact with the water, which is full of oil and the chemical dispersants BP is using. The water is totally toxic -- unfortunately the sea life doesn't have hazmat suits to protect them. Here's a clip from the dive:
