Video: Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Wear Cowboy Hats, Jeans and Boots for Calgary Stampede
The Duke and Duchess got into the spirit of things in Calgary yesterday. They arrived at the Calgary Stampede exhibition center by stage coach. They wore
white ten gallon Smithbilt hats (which were gifts), jeans and boots.
As is tradition, Prince William threw a cookstove into the back of the chuckwagon. They watched the bullriding, met locals and William gave a speech thanking his hosts.
We can't believe how natural they look in Western duds. It's amazing. Prince William was said to be really excited to slip into a pair of his old Levi's for the event. Catherine is wearing an Alice by Temperley shirt, jeans by Gold Sign,
and cowboy boots. She was gifted with a custom pair made by Alberta Boot Company, as was William. William is wearing his new boots. No one has confirmed if those are Catherine's new boots, or a pair she already owns. Take a look:
