Internet Retailerreports that Hallmark is launching an e-card subscription plan. People who pay an annual fee of $9.99 will be able to send an unlimited amount of Hallmark's premium e-cards, which normally sell for 99 cents each.
"We know people enjoy connecting with their friends and family by using e-cards featuring their favorite characters, movies and music," says product manager Shelley Mathews. "This plan makes it easy and convenient to send those e-cards when they’re needed. The cards can be selected ahead of time and sent out right on time."
The subscription plan covers all of Hallmark's premium e-cards, which retail at 99 cents each. Premium cards include those with trademarked characters such as hoops&yoyo and those that feature licensed images from musical recordings and movies such as "The Office" and "Star Wars." The plan also covers e-cards that customers choose to personalize.
