The L.A. Times California Consumer blog reports that Mars recently launched a low-calorie chocolate bar called Fling. Fling has 80 calories per bar and comes in three flavors: Milk chocolate, dark chocolate and hazelnut.
"Mars did some research and found that no product existed that provided a solution for women who wanted to be indulgent yet also permissive when eating chocolate," the company said. "Fling Chocolate provided the answer, with a ‘naughty but not that naughty' treat that satisfied chocolate desires."
Fling is intially only being sold in California as part of its launch but the chocolate bars can be ordered from the Fling website.
