US Weekly: Michael Jackson Not Biological Father of Children
The custody issues surrounding Michael Jackson's children took some strange turns today. US Weekly is reporting
that Michael is not the biological father of any of his children, and that the father of Prince Michael I and of Paris Katherine is actually Debbie Rowe's old boss, dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein. This directly contradicts other reports that Debbie Rowe used an anonymous sperm donor.
TMZ is reporting that all three children were conceived in vitro using donor eggs and sperm, and that neither Michael Jackson nor Debbie Rowe are the biological parents of Prince Michael I and Paris Katherine. According to TMZ, Debbie Rowe was a surrogate mother, not a biological mother. As far as poor little Blanket, no one knows who his biological or surrogate mother is.
Multiple sources deeply connected to the births tell us Michael was not the sperm donor for any of his kids. Debbie's eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and paid well for her services in the births of Michael Jr. and Paris.
In the case of Prince Michael II (the youngest), we're told the surrogate was never told of the identity of the "receiving parent" -- Michael Jackson. Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jackson's lawyer came to the hospital to pick the baby up and deliver him to Michael.
If these allegations are true, Debbie Rowe may still have a good shot at custody because she gave birth to two of the children while she was married to Michael, making her the presumptive biological mother until proven otherwise.
But it gets weirder. TMZ further
claims that Michael never filed the appropriate legal papers to adopt any of his children. In California, surrogacy agreements have specific requirements which must be met to be legal. These agreements have not been made public, so it's unclear if the proper procedures were followed or not. This particular fact situation has never been adjudicated by California courts that we've ever heard of (especially with such famous parents), but some judge is going to get stuck with it.
