Tonight is the premiere of the new ABC Family original series based on Sasha Paley's bestselling novel, Huge (Simon and Schuster). The show stars Hairspray's Nikki Blonsky as Wilhelmina, a rebellious teen who's been sent to fat camp against her will by her wealthy parents. The show also stars David Hasselhoff's daughter, Hayley Hasselhoff, as Amber the skinny girl of the camp.
In the book, Wil refuses to lose weight because she's furious her parents are embarrassed about her weight (they own a chain of health clubs). Wil ends up rooming with the upbeat April who saved every penny she could to get to the camp so she can finally be thin. We're not sure how the tv show will change the book, but it we'll tune in to see. Take a look:
