Lost star Evangeline Lilly has been signed by michelle-K to be the new face of the fashion company. Evangeline -- seen here rocking the sexy librarian look -- has become a focal point for Lost fans who can't decide if her character Kate Austen is really a good girl or a bad girl. Well, ok, actually we already know she's a bad girl. But she seems to have her heart in the right place.
"Evangeline is the epitome of health, beauty, style and glamour -- everything that michelle-K is all about," said Michelle Kelchak, design director of michelle-K. "She's gorgeous in a down-to-earth way, which goes so perfectly with our leisure-minded shoes. We feel proud to be working with her."
michelle-K's new print advertising campaign kicks off in Fall/Holiday 2006 fashion, lifestyle and entertainment publications, including Vogue, Elle, InStyle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, People and Us Weekly. Celebrity photographer Brian Bowen Smith shot the images at a private estate, an architectural showcase befitting the inspiration for the photos that embodies the spirit of fashion, health and style and focuses utterly on Lilly and the company's shoes. In celebration of the new campaign, michelle-K hosted a cocktail party on June 15 at the popular Kitson boutique in Los Angeles.

"michelle-K footwear has a fashion flair and independent spirit that I appreciate," Lilly said. "I am happy to be a part of a campaign that's promoting a great, quality product."
The breadth of quality product is expected to expand when michelle-K adds denim and accessories early next year.
Kate is engaged to fellow Lost star Dominic Monaghan, who you might know better as Merry from Lord of the Rings. She looks great in the new ads, but that librarian look! It's really amazing. You just know she's going to whip off those glasses, fluff out her hair, pull out the stilettos and become a glamazon at any moment.
