Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria married commoner Daniel Westling during a ceremony at Stockholm Cathedral. Princess Victoria horrified many by her choice of husband: Daniel Westling is her personal trainer and owns a high-end gym. But she has remained steadfast in her choice of groom. The crown princess is next in line for the throne, so her choice of husband is a national obsession.
Crown Princess Victoria was given away by her father King Carl XVI Gustaf. Her mother is Queen Silvia. There was quite a bit of royalty at the wedding:
Prince Albert of Monaco and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, according to People magazine. Princess Victoria's husband will now be known as
