Lady Gaga Wears Vintage Versace in The Edge of Glory Music Video
Lady Gaga has released the music video for "The Edge of Glory." Lady Gaga wears vintage Versace in the music video. The Telegraphreports that Donatella Versace opened up the Versace archives to Lady Gaga. It was the first time the archives have been opened to anyone since her brother Gianni was killed in 1997.
Donatella said in a statement, "I am greatly honored that Lady Gaga chose to wear a Versace Vintage look throughout her Edge of Glory video. I am a great fan of hers and I believe that my brother Gianni would have appreciated her talent. Like him, Lady Gaga is unafraid to push boundaries and she has created an original vocabulary by merging fashion, music, theatre and art. For me, this video represents a wonderful tribute to anyone who is unafraid to take chances."
It's a great song and a refreshingly simple music video from Lady Gaga. Legendary Saxophonist Clarence Clemons makes a cameo in the music video. Take a look:
