Video: Emma Roberts Strangely Hostile to Rob Pattinson on Tonight Show
On The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Robert Pattinson was the first guest.
After Rob's chat with Jay, actress Emma Roberts came out. After telling Jay that meeting Rob ten minutes ago was "quite the experience" in a kind of bitchy tone, Jay then asked her if she was Team Edward or Team Jacob. Okay, Rob is sitting right next to her and she says she's Team Jacob and asks the crowd who's with her. Everyone laughed (mostly in shock that she's radiating this massive hostility and being so rude) but Rob had a quick comeback saying "You've just revealed yourself as having no taste at all." Now that was funny.
Jay then said "I'm assuming you two have now met for the last time." Then Emma wants to know if they still have to sit next to each other for the next few minutes. Watch Rob's jaw drop when she says that. Unfortunately Jay then changed the subject to Scream 4. We would have much preferred to see the burgeoning Emma-Rob feud. So what is Emma's problem, anyway (other than the fact that she has no manners and is totally self-absorbed)? Take a look:
