2010 CFDA Fashion Award Winners Announced

Gwyneth Paltrow and Michael Kors


The 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards were announced at an awards ceremony held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. The top honors went to Marc Jacobs for Womenswear Designer of the Year. The award for Menswear Designer of the Year went to David Neville & Marcus Wainwright for Rag & Bone. Alexis Bittar took home the Accessory Designer of the Year Award. Designer Michael Kors was honored with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. His is pictured above with actress Gwyneth Paltrow. Gwyneth's shimmering one-shouldered black gown was custom made by Michael Kors. Here is a list of this year's winners.
  • Womenswear Designer of the Year: Marc Jacobs
  • Menswear Designer of the Year: David Neville & Marcus Wainwright for Rag & Bone
  • Accessory Designer of the Year: Alexis Bittar
  • Swarovski Award for Womenswear: Jason Wu
  • Swarovski Award for Menswear: Richard Chai
  • Swarovski Award for Accessory Design: Alexander Wang
  • Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award: Michael Kors
  • International Award: Christopher Bailey for Burberry
  • Eugenia Sheppard Award: Kim Hastreiter, Editor & Publisher, Paper magazine
  • Eleanor Lambert Award: Tonne Goodman, Fashion Director, Vogue
  • Fashion Icon Award: Iman
  • Board of Directors' Special Tribute: Alexander McQueen
