Harry Potter Lego Game Will be Released in 2010

Harry Potter LegoWarner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, and the Lego Group have partnered to create a Harry Potter Lego video game. The trio have already made Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman Lego games.

Gamasutra says the Harry Potter Lego game will span Harry's first four years at Hogwarts and will let players control Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and other characters.
Scheduled to release in 2010, Lego Harry Potter will allow gamers to play as Lego versions of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and other characters from the books during their first four years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (students attend the fictional school for seven years before graduating).

Players will be able to "attend lessons, cast spells, mix potions, fly on broomsticks, and complete tasks to earn house points" in Hogwarts castle, and visit familiar settings like Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest, and the village of Hogsmeade.
The game is scheduled to be released in 2010. It should be very popular. Here's a teaster trailer for the video game. The baby Lego Harry Potter at the start of the trailer is adorable.
