Bioengineers Fold DNA Into Origami-like Shapes

Bioengineers have learned how to fold DNA into complex shapes in a process dubbed molecular origami. One creation is a smiley face that can only be seen with an electron microscope. The WSJ's Robert Lee Hotz says the researcers hope this will lead to discoveries which researchers hope will revolutionize manufacturing, medicine and computing. Examples include micro circuits that make themselves and virus-sized DNA kits. Take a look:
