Walgreens has completed its acquisition of drugstore.com. The transaction follows Walgreens acquisition last year of New York-based drugstore chain Duane Reade.
Drugstore.com will maintain separate branding of its websites over the short term. The company's websites include drugstore.com, beauty.com, SkinStore.comm, VisionDirect.com, allergysuperstore.com and several others. You can see a complete list here.
Over the long term, Walgreens says it will fully integrate the two businesses.
