Toy Story 3 Merchandise Already a Success for Disney
The Toy Story 3 movie does not arrive in theaters until June 18th, but Disney is already claimingsuccess with its Toy Story merchandise. Disney says over 3.5 million units of Toy Story merchandise have already been sold. Disney Consumer Products projects Toy Story 3 will generate $2.4 billion in global retail sales for fiscal year 2010 making it Disney's biggest event film licensing program ever. Disney also says the Toy Story franchies has generated $9 billion in global retail sales since the inception of the Toy Story franchise.
