Daily Intel reports that Conde Nast employees received a memo that an employee working on the 12th floor of the 4 Times Square building has tested postive for swine flu. The 12th floor is the home of Vogue.
A memo just went out to Conde Nast employees informing them that an "employee working on the 12th floor at 4 Times Square" has tested positive for Influenza A. "According to CDC," the memo notes, "the H1N1 virus is a sub-type of Influenza A." As you may or may not know, the twelfth floor of the Conde Nast building is the home of Vogue. Time for rich people to start worrying about swine flu!
Daily Intel also posted a copy of the memo. If swine flu has hit Vogue's offices then it is time to pull out the designer masks. Seriously though, the h1n1 swine flu virus should not be taken lightly. Over twenty people have been killed by virus in the United States and most of them have been young people in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. Health officials say the people dying have underlying health conditions such as obesity, diabetes and asthma, but those aren't exactly rare conditions. You can find some h1n1 resources here.
