Picasso, Matisse Paintings Stolen From Paris Museum of Modern Art
Five extremely valuable paintings have been stolen from the Paris Museum of Modern Art. The BBC says the five missing paintings are Dove with Green Peas by Pablo Picasso, Pastoral by Henri Matisse, Olive Tree near l'Estaque by Georges Braque, Woman with Fan by Amedeo Modigliani and Still Life with Candlestick by Fernand Leger. The paintings are said to be worth at least $123 million. Christophe Girard, deputy culture secretary at the Paris Town Hall, says the one or more well organized individuals were involved in the robbery. Take a look:
