Video: Jake Gyllenhaal Discusses His British Accent for Prince of Persia
At the Los Angeles premiere of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Jake Gyllenhaal talks about how hard he worked on his British accent. The entire cast is British so director Mike Newell had Jake do a Briish accent, which he pulls off quite nicely. He had lots of help: co-stars Gemma Arterton and Sir Ben Kingsley praised him for his accent. In fact, Kingsley said he thinks Jake would make a great James Bond because he is an action star with a British accent. Take a look:
