Report: Google to Offer $20 a Month Laptops for Students
Forbesreports that Google will debut a $20/month Chrome laptop for students tomorrow. The student package will include both hardware and online services.
Forbes is convinced the student offer is the precursor to a business laptop offering that would work with Google's Google Apps for Business. The Google Apps package competes with Microsoft Office. It does make sense for Google to test the Chrome laptops with the student market first.
