Stars Go All Out for the Met Costume Institute Gala
The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala was last night and the guests did not disappoint in their choice of over the top couture. The gala celebrated the opening of The Costume Institute's annual exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum, which is entitled "Model and Muse: Embodying Fashion."
Designers usually attend with their muses and last night was no exception. The attendees are supposed to dress in accord with the theme of the night, so naturally last night's outfits were expected to be over the top couture. Marc Jacobs designed a one shoulder gold lame gown for his date Kate Moss. He also designed Madonna's Louis Vuitton dress, which included full bunny ears.
