Crowds Cheer Outside White House on News of Bin Laden's Death
Crowds of young college students swarmed outside the White House following news that Osama Bin Laden had been killed by special forces in a firefight. It turns out Osama Bin Laden was living in a heavily secured compound deep in Pakistan and not holed up in a cave as some had suspected. The loud crowds outside the White House likely kept President Obama from getting to sleep. He probably deserved this for making an announcement so late at night. Celebrations have also been reported at Times Square and at college campuses around the country. Take a look:
