President Obama Announces Death of Osama bin Laden
President Obama made a rare, late Sunday announcement to report that Osama bin Laden is dead. The President praised the Americans who carried out the operation deep inside Pakistan, near Islamabad, to kill Osama bin Laden. Osama was killed by American special forces in a firefight.
