Target to Open Pop-up Store on Chicago's Magnificent Mile
The Chicago Tribunereports that Target will be opening up a temporary pop-up store called Bullseye Bazaar at 455 N. Michigan Ave. This is part of Chicago's famous shopping area known as Chicago's Magnificient Mile. The Tribune says Bullseye Bazaar will run for just three days, from May 7-9, in the space formerly occupied by the McCormick Freedom Museum. The store will offer a preview of the Tracy Feith collection that won't be in Target stores until mid-May.
Target will take over the first floor of the shuttered museum, showcasing a cross section of merchandise found in Target stores as well as offering a sneak peek at the Tracy Feith clothing collection before it hits stores.
Shoppers also will get a look at furniture lines typically available only at Target.com and the Archer Farms private-label food line, among other products.
Target operates several stores in Chicago but has avoided the Magnificent Mile, where rents are high and tourists are plentiful.
NBC Chicago describes more of what will be in the Bullseye Bazaar including Felix Rey handbags and jewelry from Erickson Beamon. Time Out Chicago has a map showing the Bullseye Bazaar's location.
