CNN's David McKenzie visits Mount Kenya and the site where Prince William asked Kate Middleton to marry him. Prince William carried his mother's
sapphire and diamond ring in his
backpack during the trip. They stayed in the rustic Rutundu Log Cabin for
one night, and that's when he proposed. The cabin does not have electricity, but the resort staff prepared a special meal for them. The cabin can only be reaced by air, horseback, or a 15 kilometer walk from the road.
