MTV Picks Up Fashion-related Reality Show

MTV Logo GreenHollywood Reporter says MTV Networks is ordering a fashion-related reality tv show called The Stylist. The show has a group of fashion stylists competiting for a major agency contract. The producers of the The Real World are behind the show.
The network is set to announce a series order for "The Stylist" on Tuesday during its upfront presentation to advertisers. On the show, a group of fashion stylists -- design-savvy professionals who assemble clothes and accessories for celebrities and models -- compete for a contract with a major agency.

"Stylist" marks a slight departure for the network. MTV has aired occupation-based competition series, including "Miss Seventeen," but "Stylist's" format also would be at home on such networks as Bravo, TLC and the CW. The number of episodes and "Stylist" premiere date are not known.
It doesn't sound like there is anything unique in The Stylist but we will likely be tuning in anyway.
