Green Samsung Restore Cell Phone to Launch This Summer
CNET reports that Spring and Samsung will be launching an eco-friendly cell phone this summer called the Samsung Restore. The phone features a slide-out keyboard, 2-megapixel camera, stereo, MP3 player and microSD card slot.
The phone is made using 27% recycled plastic. It also meets the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards. It also comes in green packaging, a box made out of 70% post consumer materials and printed with soy ink. The green phone will cost $49.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
