Bulgari to Commemorate 125th Anniversary With Retrospective
W Magazine has an interesting story about Bulgari's premiere retrospective, which will commemorate Bulgari's 125th anniversary.
The retrospective will open at Rome's Palazzo delle Esposizioni on May 22, 2009. The exhibit, "Between History and Eternity: 1884–2009," will showcase many Bulgari pieces that have never been displayed before. W says the retrospective will also include the launch of seven new jewelry items. The retrospective will also travel to other cities besides Rome.
W's story talks about some difficulties and successes Bulgari had in trying to obtain the 500-plus jewelry pieces that will go on display. W says jewelry aficionada Elizabeth Taylor will be honored with her own room at the exhibit.
