Stratosphere Opens SkyJump Las Vegas

Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has announced the opening of the world's tallest SkyJump attraction. The jump is located 855 feet above the Vegas Strip.

Guinness World Records declared SkyJump Las Vegas as the highest commercial decelerator descent, breaking the previous record set by SkyJump at Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre with a height of 764.4 feet. SkyJump Las Vegas costs $129.99 per person although hotel guests can jump for $99.99.

SkyJump Las Vegas can is described as a controlled free fall. Riders are suited-up in Stratosphere's custom jump suits and connected to a high-speed descender machine. SkyJumpers leap off the platform to descend 829 feet to the landing pad below.

Frank Riolo, CEO of American Casino & Entertainment Properties, says in a statement, "Ideally situated high above the show-stopping Vegas Strip, SkyJump is a must-do for anyone looking to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush. Between screams of excitement and the rush of wind in their hair, riders will experience an unmatched view of the city day or night and a thrill that will last a lifetime."
