Virgin America Announced New Toronto Flights on Twitter
Virgin America will add new flight to Toronto from Los Angeles and San Francisco on June 23. USA Todayreports that Virgina America's Twitter followers were given a shot at a 50% discount on the new flights.
Virgin America adds that "the first 500 Twitter followers who receive the airline's expansion Tweet can score a 50% discount on flights to Toronto for travel June 23-Nov. 17, 2010." The carrier explains its move, noting "it is the only airline based in Silicon Valley" and claims "its inventive use of technology, social media and design has made it a favorite among tech-forward fliers."
