Google Launches Google Map Maker for the United States

Google has announced the launch of Google Map Maker for the United States. The service lets users of Google Maps add details to the places they know.

The mapping feature has already been active in other countries. Google says people helped build this detailed map of IIT Bombay.

Details about everything from bike lanes to pizza restaurants can be added using Google Map Maker. Take a look:
