Nationwide Average Gas Price Continues to Creep Toward $4 a Gallon
Gas prices have not stopped climbing. The nationwide average gas price, according to the AAA's Fuel Gauge Report, is now $3.827, which is nearly 30 cents higher than just one month ago and nearly $1 higher than a year ago.
The average price for regular gas is over the $4 mark in several states. In California the average price is $4.20. You can see the state by state prices here.
