Cunard Cruise Ships to Celebrate Royal Wedding With Live Broadcast, Special Dinner
Cunard has announced plans to make sure none of the guests on its three cruise ships, Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, miss out on the Royal Wedding. The ships have Royal Court Theaters which will broadcast the royal wedding ceremony live. If the seating is not large enough for passengers who want to watch the wedding, then the cruise ships will use the Planetarium and other areas of the ship.
Peter Shanks, Cunard President and Managing Director, says, "If demand for seats exceeds supply we are able to use our Planetarium and lecture room, Illuminations, which seats a further 450 passengers."
The day will also be a day of celebration on all ships, with that evening's dinner featuring a commemorative menu and a champagne toast.
